Hi there! My name is Emmy Lou and I'm the Office Manager at Hickey Elementary School. I moved to Texas from Nebraska in 2020 to be with my now husband and son. I come from a family of educators and truly value public education. I love working with students, helping the staff, answering questions, and having fun! On my time away from work you will most likely find me at a movie theater, watching a play or musical, reading a book, doing an art project, or eating good food with my family. I believe all students are worthy of a safe place to learn, grow, and become the humans they want to be! We hope that Hickey is truly a warm and welcoming place for all students and families!
