Welcome! I’m delighted to serve as our school librarian and to help students discover a lifelong love of reading. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive, welcoming library where every child feels encouraged to explore, ask questions, and grow as a confident, independent reader.
I am bilingual and moved from Mexico at age 12, an experience that shaped my passion for supporting diverse learners and building a library where all students see themselves represented. This is my second year as a librarian after teaching in Plano for nine wonderful years.
Outside of school, I love reading and buying books, traveling, and watching anime. I’m also the proud mom of two beautiful daughters and have two energetic dogs.
I look forward to welcoming every student into the library and helping them find books that inspire joy, imagination, and curiosity.
