Hello! My name is Leticia Lazo, and I am so excited to be your child's first-grade Dual Language teacher this year! I believe that building a strong home-school connection is crucial for student success, and I look forward to working with you as a team.

I’ve been in the Educational field for more than 30 years. I am passionate about creating an inclusive classroom where every student feels safe and motivated to explore new ideas. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that hands-on, inquiry-based activities help students connect what they already know to new concepts, encouraging critical thinking and a lifelong love of learning.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and our lovely dog Maverick. My hobbies include photography, painting, traveling, and trying new recipes.

I am confident this will be a wonderful school year.
