Education: Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Puerto Rico

My name is Jaime Ruiz, and I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After moving to Texas, I earned my certification as a bilingual educator and have been teaching for over a decade. I am proud to serve as a third-grade dual language teacher here at Hickey, where we empower every student to achieve high levels of biliteracy.

I live in Fate, TX with my wife, Maiara, our daughter, Zaira, and our lovable dog, Goku. In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing video games, reading, and relaxing at home. Above all, I cherish spending quality time with my family.
