My name is Courtney Sanders. I’m absolutely thrilled to be a Hickey All Star! This is my 22nd year as an educator; 17 of those years have been here in Plano ISD. I graduated from Texas A&M University @ Commerce to become an educator. Teaching is my passion; it’s what I’ve always wanted to do. I have taught grades third, fourth, and fifth. I believe in fostering an environment where my students feel loved, safe, valued, and confident so they can reach their fullest potential in and outside of the classroom. Aside from teaching, I have a daughter who attends Clark High School and keeps me quite busy! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging with friends, reading, and watching true crime.
