Education: Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University

I am thrilled to serve as a Special Education Teacher and to be a Hickey All Star! Originally hailing from New Jersey, I moved to Texas right after college and am happy to call this my home. As the youngest of four siblings, I learned the value of community and patience early on.

When I am not in the classroom supporting my students, I love spending quality time with my husband and our son. I am an avid reader, so you will often find me with a book in hand or enjoying the outdoors while taking our family dog, Max, for a walk. I look forward to a fantastic year of growth and learning!

I believe that every child has unique strengths and the potential to learn. My goal is to meet students where they are and provide the specific tools they need to grow academically and socially.
